Mumbai's busiest railway station and only common station for Western and Central lines. Known for the famous Dadar Flower Market and dabbawala sorting point.

What to expect: The station has 8 platforms and 12 tracks, serving the Western Line and Central Line. It handles around 9.5 lakh passengers daily – expect crowds during peak hours (8-10 AM and 6-9 PM). Off-peak is much more comfortable.

Getting around: Step out of Dadar station and you're within walking distance of Shivaji Park, Siddhivinayak Temple, Dadar Flower Market plus 1 other spots. Auto-rickshaws and taxis are usually available right outside the station entrance. You can also connect to Mumbai Metro here for reaching areas the local trains don't cover.

How to Change Trains Here

Dadar connects 2 different lines, so you can switch between them without leaving the station. Look for the foot overbridge (FOB) signs pointing to your destination line. During rush hour, give yourself 5-10 minutes for the switch.
