Greenbelt is located on the Yellow Line (Yellow Line), one of Washington DC's operational metro corridors. This is the final stop on the line, so all passengers alight here. Trains turn around and head back towards Huntington.

What makes Greenbelt particularly useful is its interchange connection with Green Line. If you need to switch between lines, this is where you'll do it – and you won't need to exit or purchase a new ticket. The interchange corridor is clearly signposted with color-coded directions.
