Mahalaxmi is located on the Line 3 (Line 3), one of Mumbai's operational metro corridors. It sits between Science Museum and Jagannath Shankar Sheth, making it a convenient stop for the surrounding area.

What makes Mahalaxmi particularly useful is its interchange connection with Western Railway. If you need to switch between lines, this is where you'll do it – and you won't need to exit or purchase a new ticket. The interchange corridor is clearly signposted with color-coded directions.

The area around Mahalaxmi station offers good connectivity to local landmarks. Haji Ali Dargah is about a 10-minute walk from the exit. Mahalaxmi Temple is also within easy reach.
