Redfern is located on the T1 (T1), one of Sydney's operational metro corridors. It sits between Central and Strathfield, making it a convenient stop for the surrounding area.

What makes Redfern particularly useful is its interchange connection with T2, T3, T4, T8, T9. If you need to switch between lines, this is where you'll do it – and you won't need to exit or purchase a new ticket. The interchange corridor is clearly signposted with color-coded directions.

The area around Redfern station offers good connectivity to local landmarks. University of Sydney is about a 10-minute walk from the exit. Carriageworks is also within easy reach.
