Attraction
While Global Village is a bit of a walk from the metro, it's still your best bet to avoid Dubai's traffic. Many visitors take an auto-rickshaw for the last stretch.
Board the Red Line
Look for trains heading towards Business Bay. Check the display boards for confirmation.
Get off at Business Bay
The station is well-marked. Use the main exit towards the street level.
Head to Global Village
Around 30 minutes walking. Consider a shared auto (₹20-30) if you prefer.
Local Tip
Taxi or bus from major metro stations. Shuttle buses available from Union station
Prefer not to walk? Auto-rickshaws and cabs are available right outside Business Bay station. Negotiate the fare before you hop in, or use Uber/Ola for fixed pricing.
Started in 1997 as a small cultural festival on Dubai Creek, Global Village has grown into a 17-million-square-foot seasonal destination drawing over 7 million visitors annually. The entire village is rebuilt each season with new pavilions and layouts.
Business Bay metro station is the closest to Global Village, though you'll want to factor in the 30-minute walk (or grab an auto). It's not the shortest commute, but the metro still beats sitting in Dubai traffic.
While you're in the area, consider checking out IMG Worlds of Adventure and Kite Beach – they're near the same metro station and can easily be combined into a single trip.
Did you know? Each country pavilion is staffed by people from that nation, so you can buy Turkish lamps from a Turkish vendor, taste Filipino street food cooked by Filipino chefs, and haggle for Indian textiles with Indian merchants — all in one evening.
