Beach
While Kite Beach is a bit of a walk from the metro, it's still your best bet to avoid Dubai's traffic. Many visitors take an auto-rickshaw for the last stretch.
Board the Red Line
Look for trains heading towards Business Bay. Check the display boards for confirmation.
Get off at Business Bay
The station is well-marked. Use the main exit towards the street level.
Head to Kite Beach
Around 25 minutes walking. Consider a shared auto (₹20-30) if you prefer.
Prefer not to walk? Auto-rickshaws and cabs are available right outside Business Bay station. Negotiate the fare before you hop in, or use Uber/Ola for fixed pricing.
Originally a quiet stretch of coast near Umm Suqeim, Kite Beach gained fame in the 2010s as Dubai's go-to spot for kite surfing and beach sports.
Business Bay metro station is the closest to Kite Beach, though you'll want to factor in the 25-minute walk (or grab an auto). It's not the shortest commute, but the metro still beats sitting in Dubai traffic.
While you're in the area, consider checking out Global Village and IMG Worlds of Adventure – they're near the same metro station and can easily be combined into a single trip.
Did you know? Kite Beach was one of the first beaches in Dubai to get a Blue Flag certification for meeting strict environmental, educational, and accessibility criteria.
