Getting to Jumeirah Mosque by metro is convenient, though you'll need comfortable shoes for the walk. Here's how:
Board the Red Line
Look for trains heading towards Business Bay. Check the display boards for confirmation.
Get off at Business Bay
The station is well-marked. Use the main exit towards the street level.
Head to Jumeirah Mosque
About 20 minutes on foot. Save the Google Maps directions before you start.
Local Tip
Taxi from Business Bay Metro Station (about 10 minutes)
Prefer not to walk? Auto-rickshaws and cabs are available right outside Business Bay station. Negotiate the fare before you hop in, or use Uber/Ola for fixed pricing.
Built in 1979 in the medieval Fatimid tradition, Jumeirah Mosque was one of Dubai's first landmarks and is featured on the AED 500 banknote.
Business Bay metro station is the closest to Jumeirah Mosque, though you'll want to factor in the 20-minute walk (or grab an auto). It's not the shortest commute, but the metro still beats sitting in Dubai traffic.
While you're in the area, consider checking out Global Village and IMG Worlds of Adventure – they're near the same metro station and can easily be combined into a single trip.
Did you know? Jumeirah Mosque is one of Dubai's Open Doors Open Minds initiative mosques, welcoming non-Muslims to learn about Islam and Emirati culture.
